Second Grade High Frequency words are listed according to Lesson. We will have a new set of HFW each week. When you are practicing HFW with your child, please encourage them to read them quickly. After a few seconds, tell them the word and continue. I tell the students you need to "See it and say it." I will send home a High Frequency Word list during the 2nd week of school. It is extremely important that your child practices these words. If your child comes home with words on a sticky note, these are words they need to practice until they can read them quickly.
The list of HFW can be found on the study guide that is sent home each week. If you do not see them in your child's backpack, please email me and I will send you another copy.
